Sticks and stones may break my bones

Sticks and stones may break my bones, but the devil cant touch what I have committed to God. Not my children, not the wife of my youth, not the friends I lay in His hands for protection. Not my eyes tethered to righteousness. Not my heart that keeps in step with Gods. Not my mind that is fortified by the Holiness He has taught me. Not my livelihood, not my needs, not my hopes, not my dreams. Not my path which is patterned by the Lord.

Every time one of the enemy's futile darts come my way, I will hurl them back with the last Word. The Bread of life, the Light of the world, the Joy in the morning, the Deliverer of my soul, my Reconciler with God. With all that on my side, the enemy doesn't have toe space to get into my life.

To get to me and mine, the enemy's got to come through my Father. And He's jealous for me. I'm the apple of His eye. I never get out of His sight. He's better than insurance -- He covers my dependents at no extra charge.
