Exodus 20:20 And Moses said to the people, Fear not; for God has come to prove you, so that the reverential fear of Him may be before you that you may not sin.

Numbers 5:5And the Lord said to Moses, 6Say to the Israelites, When a man or woman commits any sin that men commit by breaking faith with the Lord, and that person is guilty, 7Then he shall confess the sin which he has committed, and he shall make restitution for his wrong in full, and add a fifth to it, and give it to him whom he has wronged.

Matthew 3:8 Bring forth fruit that is consistent with repentance let your lives prove your change of heart;

Exodus 20:1 THEN GOD spoke all these words: 2I am the Lord your God, Who has brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. 3You shall have no other gods before or besides Me.  4You shall not make yourself any graven image to worship it or any likeness of anything that is in the heavens above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth;  5You shall not bow down yourself to them or serve them; for I the Lord your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generation of those who hate Me,  6But showing mercy and steadfast love to a thousand generations of those who love Me and keep My commandments.

JESUS SAID – Matthew 22:36 Teacher, which kind of commandment is great and important (the principal kind) in the Law? Some commandments are light--which are heavy? 37And He replied to him, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind (intellect).  38This is the great (most important, principal) and first commandment. 39And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as you do yourself.  40These two commandments sum up and upon them depend all the Law and the Prophets.

Ex 29:7You shall not use or repeat the name of the Lord your God in vain that is, lightly or frivolously, in false affirmations or profanely; for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain.

JESUS SAID – Matthew 5:33Again, you have heard that it was said to the men of old, You shall not swear falsely, but you shall perform your oaths to the Lord as a religious duty.    34But I tell you, Do not bind yourselves by an oath at all: either by heaven, for it is the throne of God;  35Or by the earth, for it is the footstool of His feet; or by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the Great King.  36And do not swear by your head, for you are not able to make a single hair white or black.  37Let your Yes be simply Yes, and your No be simply No; anything more than that comes from the evil one.

The apostle wrote to the Ephesians in chapter 4:29 Let no foul or polluting language, nor evil word nor unwholesome or worthless talk ever come out of your mouth, but only such speech as is good and beneficial to the spiritual progress of others, as is fitting to the need and the occasion, that it may be a blessing and give grace (God's favor) to those who hear it.

Ex 20:12Regard (treat with honor, due obedience, and courtesy) your father and mother, that your days may be long in the land the Lord your God gives you.

JESUS SAID -   Matthew 15:3He replied to them, And why also do you transgress and violate the commandment of God for the sake of the rules handed down to you by your forefathers (the elders)? 4For God commanded, Honor your father and your mother, and, He who curses or reviles or speaks evil of or abuses or treats improperly his father or mother, let him surely come to his end by death.

JESUS CORRECTED THOSE WHO WOULD CHANGE THE MEANING OF THE COMMANDMENT written in Exodus 20:12 in Mark 7:7In vain (fruitlessly and without profit) do they worship Me, ordering and teaching to be obeyed as doctrines the commandments and precepts of men.  8You disregard and give up and ask to depart from you the commandment of God and cling to the tradition of men keeping it carefully and faithfully.    9And He said to them, You have a fine way of rejecting thus thwarting and nullifying and doing away with the commandment of God in order to keep your tradition (your own human regulations)!10For Moses said, Honor (revere with tenderness of feeling and deference) your father and your mother, and, He who curses or reviles or speaks evil of or abuses or treats improperly his father or mother, let him surely die.    11But as for you you say, A man is exempt if he tells his father or his mother, What you would otherwise have gained from me everything I have that would have been of use to you is Corban, that is, is a gift already given as an offering to God, 12Then you no longer are permitting him to do anything for his father or mother but are letting him off from helping them.    13Thus you are nullifying and making void and of no effect the authority of the Word of God through your tradition, which you in turn hand on. And many things of this kind you are doing.

Ex 20:13You shall not commit murder.

JESUS SAID – Matthew 5:21You have heard that it was said to the men of old, You shall not kill, and whoever kills shall be liable to and unable to escape the punishment imposed by the court. 22But I say to you that everyone who continues to be angry with his brother or harbors malice (enmity of heart) against him shall be liable to and unable to escape the punishment imposed by the court; and whoever speaks contemptuously and insultingly to his brother shall be liable to and unable to escape the punishment imposed by the Sanhedrin, and whoever says, You cursed fool! You empty-headed idiot! shall be liable to and unable to escape the hell (Gehenna) of fire.  23So if when you are offering your gift at the altar you there remember that your brother has any grievance against you, 24Leave your gift at the altar and go. First make peace with your brother, and then come back and present your gift.

    14You shall not commit adultery.

Proverbs 6:32 But whoever commits adultery with a woman lacks heart and understanding (moral principle and prudence); he who does it is destroying his own life.

JESUS SAID - Matthew 5:27-29 (Amplified Bible) 27You have heard that it was said, You shall not commit adultery.  28But I say to you that everyone who so much as looks at a woman with evil desire for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.  29If your right eye serves as a trap to ensnare you or is an occasion for you to stumble and sin, pluck it out and throw it away. It is better that you lose one of your members than that your whole body be cast into hell (Gehenna). 30And if your right hand serves as a trap to ensnare you or is an occasion for you to stumble and sin, cut it off and cast it from you. It is better that you lose one of your members than that your entire body should be cast into hell (Gehenna).   31It has also been said, Whoever divorces his wife must give her a certificate of divorce.    32But I tell you, Whoever dismisses and repudiates and divorces his wife, except on the grounds of unfaithfulness (sexual immorality), causes her to commit adultery, and whoever marries a woman who has been divorced commits adultery.

JESUS SAID – Mark 12:14And they came up and said to Him, Teacher, we know that You are sincere and what You profess to be, that You cannot lie, and that You have no personal bias for anyone; for You are not influenced by partiality and have no regard for anyone's external condition or position, but in and on the basis of truth You teach the way of God. Is it lawful (permissible and right) to give tribute (poll taxes) to Caesar or not?   15Should we pay them or should we not pay them? But knowing their hypocrisy, He asked them, Why do you put Me to the test? Bring Me a coin (a denarius), so I may see it.  16And they brought Him one. Then He asked them, Whose image (picture) is this? And whose superscription (title)? They said to Him, Caesar's.  17Jesus said to them, Pay to Caesar the things that are Caesar's and to God the things that are God's. And they stood marveling and greatly amazed at Him.

Malachi 2:15 And did not God make you and your wife one flesh? Did not One make you and preserve your spirit alive? And why did God make you two one? Because He sought a godly offspring from your union. Therefore take heed to yourselves, and let no one deal treacherously and be faithless to the wife of his youth.

JESUS SAID - Mark 10:7-9 (Amplified Bible) 7For this reason a man shall leave behind his father and his mother and be joined to his wife and cleave closely to her permanently, 8And the two shall become one flesh, so that they are no longer two, but one flesh.   9What therefore God has united (joined together), let not man separate or divide.

    Ex 20:15You shall not steal.

Ephesians 4:28Let the thief steal no more, but rather let him be industrious, making an honest living with his own hands, so that he may be able to give to those in need.

JESUS SAID -  Matthew 19:18 … And Jesus answered, You shall not kill, You shall not commit adultery, You shall not steal, You shall not bear false witness,

Ex 20:16 You shall not witness falsely against your neighbor.

JESUS SAID - Matthew 19:18 … And Jesus answered, You shall not kill, You shall not commit adultery, You shall not steal, You shall not bear false witness,

Ex 20:17 You shall not covet your neighbor's house, your neighbor's wife, or his manservant, or his maidservant, or his ox, or his donkey, or anything that is your neighbor's.

JESUS SAID - Mark 7:20 And He said, What comes out of a man is what makes a man unclean and renders him unhallowed.   21For from within, that is out of the hearts of men, come base and wicked thoughts, sexual immorality, stealing, murder, adultery,  22Coveting (a greedy desire to have more wealth), dangerous and destructive wickedness, deceit; unrestrained (indecent) conduct; an evil eye (envy), slander (evil speaking, malicious misrepresentation, abusiveness), pride the sin of an uplifted heart against God and man), foolishness (folly, lack of sense, recklessness, thoughtlessness). 23All these evil purposes and desires come from within, and they make the man unclean and render him unhallowed.

JESUS SAID - Luke 15: 10 Even so, I tell you, there is joy among and in the presence of the angels of God over one especially wicked person who repents changes his mind for the better, heartily amending his ways, with abhorrence of his past sins.

Father I pray in Jesus Name according to Your Covenant Word as written in Jeremiah 31:32 Not according to the covenant which I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, although I was their Husband, says the Lord.

33But this is the covenant which I will make with the house of Israel: After those days, says the Lord, I will put My law within them, and on their hearts will I write it; and I will be their God, and they will be My people.

As we confess that we are YOUR people called by Your Name Lord Jesus, I pray that YOU WRITE YOUR LAWS ON OUR HEARTS THAT WE MAY NOT SIN AGAINST YOU!
