- Tears - Rainwater? -

Rain cleanses the soil, nourishes baby plants and fills out wheat heads of grain so they are full for the reaping. Some crops like rice actually require flooding! In our spiritual lives the "rains" may come in exactly the same way. :)

Maybe that's why the Word says God collects them (Psalms 56:8), grieves over them (Malachi 2:13) and turns them into Joy (Psalms 126:5). Psalm 42:3, shows us that we are in good company as King David shed tears as we do. Psalm 6:6 could be said by any Stander and King David keeps us company in our grief.

Like the woman in Luke 4:77 we come imperfect before our Lord with not even the strength to stand before Him. We fall at his feet and wash them with our tears sobbing with pain and grief beyond our ability to endure.

2 Kings 20:4- says "Before Isaiah had gone out of the middle court the word of the Lord came to him: Turn back and tell Hezekiah the leader of My people, Thus says the Lord, the God of David your forefather: I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; behold I WILL heal you. " Verse 6 tells us that God will defend us for HIS own sake and for the sake of our forefathers.

O hear the cry of the Standers Father God and bring transformation, salvation, redemption and restoration to our marriages and families in Jesus Name. Amen
